I think I know it is my review.
Drunk Zuko didn’t write it. Drunk Katara did.
And I actually feel truly terrible about this now.
We got a number of asks and comments on this in past hour.
I don’t feel bad in having an opinion. It is my opinion. And I own up to it as being my opinion.
But…
I understand is an apology, and I am a big fan of the author. I know you don’t like it, and you didn’t write the review. I, however, hate when people do things like this. This is more directed to the person who wrote the review. As authors, we understand that some people don’t like our stories. They may even hate them, but, when you find out that there is an entire blog and page about how abso-freaking-lutely horrible it is, it’s even more crushing than a bad review.
I respect Drunk Katara’s opinion and everything, but she should at least review on FF.net instead of reviewing in a place the author can’t see and is without a voice. Then have someone else, who read the review and is a big fan of hers, lead her to the review instead of having Drunk Katara tell alwaysZutarian herself how she feels about the story. I mean no disrespect, but an attack on a fellow author, especially in this fashion, is an attack on the rest of us. Thank you for reading.
